Medha D. Joshi Joins The Prestigious Ranks Of Stanford Who's Who
Medha D. Joshi has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her outstanding professional career.
EVANSTON, IL, August 7, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Medha D. Joshi has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her outstanding professional career. As an Assistant Professor at Midwestern University, as well as throughout her brilliant career, Medha has routinely displayed the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
Medha is a motivated researcher with hands on experience in formulating and analyzing various "nano" formulations. She has worked in particular with liposomes and nanoparticles for the treatment of cancer and infectious diseases, and their preclinical evaluation including toxicity in animal models.
During her collegiate career, Medha earned a Bachelor of Pharmacy and Master of Pharmacy degree. She went on to earn a PhD in Pharmaceuticals from the Institute of Chemical Technology at the University of Mumbai. Since then, Medha has 4 years of experience as a post-doctoral researcher, having published over 10 original research papers and produced a patent. She is a member of the Indian Pharmaceutical Association.
