Dr. Toni Ramey strives to instill a love of science into her students
MOBILE, AL, July 21, 2011 /Science and Research PR News/ -- Dr. Toni B. Ramey, a teacher at Bernice Causey Middle School, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in physical science instruction.
Dr. Ramey was initially drawn to the teaching profession because of its flexible schedule, yet she soon found it to be her true calling. This year, she is celebrating her 20th year in the field. In 2009, Dr. Ramey earned a Ph.D. in educational administration with a minor in research from The University of Southern Mississippi and began teaching the school's eighth graders. She attributes her success to her passionate work ethic.
Dr. Ramey is nationally board certified in early adolescent science. She is a member of Kappa Delta Phi International Honor Society in Education and Phi Delta Kappa International. As she moves forward in her career, she intends to teach other educators.
