Mary Rece Holt Honored by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Product Development

Mary Rece Holt holds seven product patents for Kimberly-Clark

    FREMONT, WI, April 23, 2010 /Science and Research PR News/ --Mary Rece Holt, Senior Research Scientist, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in product development.

Demonstrating over 37 years of industry know-how, Mary Rece Holt is distinguished for her dedication to the field of product development. In a 15-year career with Kimberly-Clark, Ms. Holt utilized her expertise to conduct consumer research, develop prototype products, and deliver finished products to market. She is especially savvy with regard to consumer understanding and, as such, headed ethnographic focus groups to gather insights. While with Kimberly-Clark, Ms. Holt patented the Smart Spindle in August 2006 with additional patents for the device and use in 2007 and 2009. In total, she holds seven product patents.

Celebrated amongst her peers for her scientific abilities, Ms. Holt was chosen to work in the growth incubation department with an elite group of professionals - an experience of which she is particularly proud. In recognition of excellence in her field, she was honored with the "Drackett Presidential Achievement Award" on two occasions and was named "VIP of the Year" by Cambridge Publishing for the 2009-2010 year. A graduate of Thomas More College, Ms. Holt holds a bachelor of science in chemistry. She is affiliated with Iota Sigma Pi.
