Dr. Daniel Alexis Zarate Rendon to Be Profiled in Exclusive Registry
Dr. Daniel Alexis Zarate Rendon intends to promote research and international cooperation in the field of veterinary parasitology
ATHENS, GA, October 04, 2010 /Science and Research PR News/ -- Dr. Daniel Alexis Zarate Rendon, Assistant Professor at The Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina in Peru, and at the present time a Research Assistant at The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in veterinary medicine.
With 11 years of field experience, Dr. Zarate Rendon is involved with the research of parasitic diseases in livestock. At the Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina in Peru, he instructs students in animal science on animal health. At The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, he conducts research on parasitic diseases that affect farm animals, focusing on anthelmintic resistance and new approaches for control of the major parasites. He attributes his success to his hard work.
He is the recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship to pursue a Ph.D. at the University of Georgia. Dr. Zarate Rendon earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, in Lima, Peru. He is a member of the World Association for the Advancement of Veterinary Parasitology and the American Association of Veterinary Parasitologists. He volunteers his free time to help local animal shelters. In the future, Dr. Zarate Rendon intends to participate in parasitic disease research in Peru and promote international cooperation in the field of veterinary medicine.
