Research and Development receives BASF Innovation Award under Mr. Ianniello's leadership
ISELIN, NJ, September 28, 2009 /Science and Research PR News/ -- Robert M. Ianniello, Director of Research and Development for BASF Catalysts, LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of research and development.
Specializing in new product development, Robert M. Ianniello lends his talents to BASF Catalysts, LLC as its Director of Research and Development. A proven industry leader, Mr. Ianniello supervises a staff of 240 scientists and technicians as they make significant advances in the field of heterogeneous catalysts. Mr. Ianniello takes great pride in the invaluable contributions of his department, celebrating each scientist's success as his own. Under his management, the Research and Development department was honored with the prestigious BASF Innovation Award.
With a Ph.D. from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey and a master of science from St. John's University, Mr. Ianniello hopes to become involved in new areas of technology as he moves forward with the company. He is active within his professional community, serving as board member for The Eastern Analytical Symposium, Inc. and holding memberships in The North American Catalysis Society, Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Society, the American Chemical Society and the International Precious Metals Institute.
