Jill Irene Lepo-Wieniewitz Showcases Professional Brand through Cambridge Who' Who

Jill Irene Lepo-Wieniewitz is Honored for her 23 Years of Dedication to Science Education

Thunderbolt, GA, April 28, 2009 /Science and Research PR News/ -- Jill Lepo-Wieniewitz, Program Coordinator and Lead Lab Instructor for Thunderbolt Elementary Marine Science Academy's Marine Science Department, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in marine science curriculum development and implementation.

Jill Lepo-Wieniewitz has spent the past 23 years honing her expertise in marine science, environmental ecology, and early-childhood education with an emphasis on learning style identification and differentiation. Since 2005, she has been teaching Thunderbolt Elementary Marine Science Academy (TEMSA) students to become knowledgeable and responsible stewards of planet Earth through marine science and environmental ecology studies. She works alongside dedicated, passionate professionals and is proud of the TEMSA program; watching it emerge from a grant proposal to a 2009 Magnet School of Excellence, as recognized by the Magnet Schools of America. Jill became involved in her profession because she always learned 'differently' and wanted to provide alternative learning avenues for similar students who struggled with traditional teaching and learning formats. The highlight of her career was joining Thunderbolt at the beginning of the grant and playing a strategic role in the development and implementation of its marine science program.

Mrs. Lepo-Wieniewitz is pursuing a Doctoral Degree in Teacher Leadership at Walden University. She received a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instructional Development from Central Michigan University, a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Armstrong Atlantic State University and an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts from Florida Junior College at Jacksonville. She is a National Board Certified Teacher - specialty Early Childhood Generalist, with certification endorsements in Gifted Education and Mentoring as a Teacher Support Specialist.
