PAPILLION, NE, December 19, 2008 /Science and Research PR News/ -- Jeffry B. Giddings, Regional Engineer at Ductile Iron Pipe Research Association, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of engineering research.
With 18 years of professional experience, two of which have been in his current position, Mr. Giddings is responsible for promoting iron pipe to municipalities and consulting engineers in his eight-state region. Prior to joining Ductile Iron Pipe Research Association, he worked as a plant engineer for a mining company, an environmental engineer for a source emission-testing firm and held various positions with a heavy industrial construction contractor. He considers the support he receives from his faith in God, his family and his friends to be the driving forces behind his success.
A licensed professional engineer, Mr. Giddings received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wyoming in 1990 and an Associate of Science from Casper College in 1987. In addition, he is a registered professional engineer in Nebraska and is a member of the American Water Works Association, the National Society of Professional Engineers and the National Association of Corrosion Engineers International. Mr. Giddings is a supporter of the Special Olympics and Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
