SYRACUSE, NY, November 7, 2008 /Science and Research PR News/ -- Robert L. Sunheimer, Professor for SUNY Upstate Medical University, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of higher education.
Mr. Sunheimer is proud to lend his talents to SUNY Upstate Medical University, an educational institution dedicated to improving the health of communities through education and biomedical research. An expert in clinical chemistry, he is responsible for teaching Pathology residents, graduate students and undergraduate students. Mr. Sunheimer decided to devote his career to teaching chemistry and become involved in health care because of his fascination with science, his desire to make a contribution to the care of the sick and his interest in working with students. He attributes his success to dedication and hard work.
A certified specialist in laboratory safety and a New York State licensed Clinical Laboratory Technologist, Mr. Sunheimer received his Master of Science in Medical Technology from SUNY Upstate Medical Center in 1974. He is a member of the American Association for Clinical Chemistry, the American Chemical Society, the American Society for Clinical Pathology and the Clinical Laboratory Management Association.
