Friedel, Assistant Professor at the Louisiana State University College of Agriculture, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of higher education.

Considered an expert in agricultural education, Dr. Friedel is responsible for conducting research, assisting other teachers, developing curricula, and organizing workshops and conferences. Recognized as a National Model of Innovation for Student Development for organizing an agricultural education program in Nebraska, he attributes his success to his creativity and conviction that agricultural education could help students achieve success, and to the support he received from his own teachers.

Dr. Friedel received his Ph.D. in Agricultural Education and Communication from the University of Florida in 2006 and his Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education from Northwest Missouri State University in 1999. He is affiliated with the American Association of Agricultural Education, the Association for International Agricultural and Extension Education, and the Association for Career and Technical Education Research.
