4 Hour WorkWeek: Which Virtual Assistant?
Timothy Ferris suggested that you could make more money by using a virtual assistant, and thereby working less. He suggested Get Friday in India, but I found CatchFriday in the Philippines to be better.
MAKATI, PHILIPPINES, September 29, 2008 /Science and Research PR News/ -- I just put down Timothy Ferris' book, the 4 hour work week, and said to myself, "I want to work 4 hours a week, so which Virtual Assistant firm do I use - the internet gives me so much choice?"
Ferris suggested Get Friday, Your Man In India, but I found their accent difficult to pierce, their service delivery wanting, and my network suggested that I should try someone else.
So I phoned Catch Friday, who are a Philippine VA Company, similar to Get Friday, but cheaper! CatchFriday pitch in at ten bucks an hour, and straight off I had increased my profit margin by 50% on GetFridayâ s package.
I got Jo, one of their virtual assistants, and had a clear conversation.
The first job I outsourced was a research job, and I asked for information on the top 500 Fortune companies, including decision makers and numbers.
Up to then I had never used a virtual assistant, but now Iâ ve hit home and I will be using CatchFriday again!
